Owner’s Recommendation: “Head down to the beach at low tide with a flask of coffee. The shoreline retreats so far that you can walk for miles in total silence—it is the best way to clear your head.”
We are incredibly lucky to have this national trail running right past our gate. It offers elevated views of the dunes and the sea, perfect for those who enjoy a bracing coastal walk.
Owner’s Recommendation: “The stretch heading north towards Saltfleet is particularly beautiful at sunset. Keep an eye out for the rare birds that nest in the marshland along the way.”
Often called the “Capital of the Wolds,” this historic town is just a 20-minute drive away. It is famous for its independent shops and has avoided the typical “high street” feel of most modern towns.
Owner’s Recommendation: “Don’t miss the Louth Cheese Shop on the corner of the market square. Pick up some Lincolnshire Poacher cheese and a fresh loaf from the local bakers for a luxury ‘pod-picnic’ back at the farm.”
